It started in 1993 with a single oven, a handful of local ingredients, and a stubborn refusal to compromise on quality. Founder Marco Luciani opened our first location on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis with one simple belief: that great pizza begins with great ingredients and the patience to do things the right way.
Three decades later, Pizza luce has grown from a neighborhood gem into a beloved Minneapolis institution — but our commitment to craft has never wavered. Every dough ball is still hand-stretched daily. Every sauce is still made from scratch. Every pizza is still baked to order, the same way it was on day one.
We source locally whenever we can, work with Minnesota farmers and producers, and keep our menu honest — no shortcuts, no compromises, just real food made by people who care deeply about what they put on your table.
